URL for the Appointment

Once the token is generated, the appointment booking flow can start via the Appointment App. The Appointment app is a Progressive Web App, that can be opened as a standalone URL.

Browser

In the browser, the URL can be opened in a separate tab or in an iFrame.

Android

iOS

Chrome Browser in iOS is not supported by Apple for WebRTC video calls. Hence it is suggested to use only Safari Browser in iOS.

Appointment Types

There are three types of Appointment Flows.

Instant Booking

Booking is confirmed with a doctor who is currently online and available to take the appointment.

Immediate Booking

Booking is confirmed with a doctor based on the nearest available time slot. The expected consultation time is returned to the client.

Scheduled Booking

Booking is done by selecting a doctor and a time slot based on the availability of the doctor.

Open Appointment App

To Open the appointment app, you will need accessToken generated using authentication API and a unique patient identifier for a patient as identified in your system.

Open the appointment app passing the mandatory query params - access token, patient Id, and appointment type. Additional basic patient information can include name, age, and gender, height, and weight.
